Cancellation Policy
Plans change and weather changes faster. Here is exactly what happens to your money in either case, with no small print.
The Short Version
A 50 percent deposit confirms every booking. Cancel outside the window for your tour and that deposit comes back to you in full. Cancel inside it and the deposit is not refunded, because the boat or the vehicle has already been held for you and turned away from other bookings.

The mountain safari is a private tour running on a shared tour window. That is deliberate and it works in your favor.
Shared tours are the half day dhow cruise, the full day dhow cruise, beach camping, the half day cruise and mountain safari combination, diving trips and the day tours from Dubai. Private tours are the private dhow cruise, the overnight dhow cruise, the city tour and transport bookings.
If We Cancel Because Of The Weather
We monitor conditions 24 hours before departure. If it is not safe to sail, we cancel the tour ourselves and refund you in full. There is no rebooking fee and no argument about it.
You are welcome to move to another date instead of taking the refund. That choice is yours, not a condition we put on the refund.
Changing A Date Rather Than Cancelling
Moving a booking to a different date is free if you tell us outside the window above and we have space on the new date. Inside the window we will always try, but we cannot promise it, because by then the boat is committed.
Late Arrivals And No Shows
Boats leave on time because the whole day is built around the departure. If you arrive after your boat has sailed we cannot refund the booking, and we cannot hold a shared departure for one late party.
If you are running late, message us as early as you can rather than at the reporting time. Sometimes we can move you to a later departure on the same day.
How To Cancel Or Change A Booking
Message us on WhatsApp at +971 52 451 6875 with your name and the date you booked. That is the fastest route and it gives you a written record. You can also email info@musandamtrip.com.
We confirm every cancellation in writing. If you have not had a reply confirming it, assume it is not done and chase us.
How Long A Refund Takes
Refunds take up to 07 working days to reach you once we have confirmed the cancellation. The delay is on the banking side, not ours, and it applies whether you cancelled or we did.
The Balance
The remaining 50 percent is paid on the day of the tour. If you cancel outside the window, there is nothing outstanding to pay.
