Dubai To Khasab Musandam Oman Route Map:

Travel Time: 3 Hours: It takes normally 3.5 hours from Dubai to Khasab including the border processing time. Make sure you leave enough early to reach the given location to catch the Dhow. If it is a special event like a UAE holiday make sure to leave early as the border will be crowded.

Getting On Arrival Visa: Before leaving Dubai make sure you are eligible for an arrival visa. Some professions and nationalities are not allowed to get on-arrival visas. Please speak to our representative before leaving Dubai.

Oman Single Entry Visit Visa Cost: Oman visit visa is 85 AED each (UAE residents and UAE tourist visa holders) and can be obtained on arrival from the border and can be applied online at the Oman E-visa website. https://evisa.rop.gov.om.  You can pay by credit card, debit card, or cash to get the visa from the border.

Passport & Visa Validity: If you have a UAE work visa make sure your passport and Visa are not expiring in the next 90 days from your tour date. A minimum of 90 days of passport validity from the tour date is required for tourists as well.

Vehicle Insurance: If you are coming by your own car, make sure you have a car ownership card (Malkiya) and your car is covered by Oman insurance. If it is not covered you can buy temporary insurance from the border.

NOC For Rented Cars: If you have a rented car then make sure you get the NOC (No Objection Certificate) to cross the borders. If you don’t have NOC you will not be allowed to cross the border. All the car rental companies do not provide NOC to cross borders so ask them before renting a car that you will need to cross borders.
