A day on the water followed by a night in Khasab, with the hotel left entirely up to you. The cruise runs the full day from Khasab port through the fjords, with swimming, snorkeling, and a good chance of dolphins alongside the boat. Because you arrange your own room, you can spend as much or as little as you want on the night, from a 4 star resort on the rock face to a small apartment in town. If you want a second day in Musandam, add the private mountain safari for the next morning.

What The Day On The Water Looks Like
The cruise runs the full day from Khasab port on a traditional wooden dhow, sailing into Khor Sham where the mountains drop straight into the water. You anchor at Telegraph Island and again at Seebi Island for swimming and snorkeling, with dolphins common along the way and lunch served on board. The boat is back at port in the late afternoon, which leaves you the evening free in Khasab.

What this booking adds is the night. Instead of driving back to the UAE tired at the end of a long day, you check into your room in Khasab, sleep, and either head home fresh in the morning or add the private mountain safari and make it two days.

Is the hotel included in the price?
No. AED 150 per adult covers the full day dhow cruise only. You book and pay for your hotel directly, which is why you can choose anything from a 4 star resort to a budget apartment.
Do you book the hotel for us?
No, you book it yourself. Each hotel listed on this page has its own availability link so you can check dates and rates direct.
Should we stay the night before or after the cruise?
Either works. Guests driving up from the UAE often arrive the evening before and start the cruise fresh in the morning. Guests driving up on the day usually take the room for the night after.
Is the cruise private or shared?
Shared. You are on the dhow with other guests. The mountain safari add-on is private.
What does the mountain safari add-on cost?
AED 700 for the vehicle, valid for up to 5 guests, starting 09:30 AM the next morning from your hotel. It is a private 4×4 running the mountain road toward Jebel Al Harim, stopping at Bait Al Qufl and the fossil beds at almost 1,800 meters.
Can you arrange transport from Dubai?
Yes, AED 1,400 for the vehicle, up to 5 guests, return. Border fees are paid separately at the crossing since the amount varies by group. You can also drive yourself, in which case you need your vehicle registration card and, for a rental, an NOC from the rental company.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit confirms the booking, with the balance paid on the day. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the cruise. The mountain safari add-on also has a 48 hour cancellation window.
